In. I love Maryland Football. I just feel like they like to kick me in the nuts twice every season, since being Rangooned I feel like they are kicking me in the nuts like twice every week of the year now.
Love ya Eli! Lets have fun this year!
I don't think you know who EliTerp is and his relationship to the Program and one of our former players. Let's just say he's not evaluating Fridge from a fan's perspective.

Crespi sighting!!!! Welcome back!
Will always love the football program, even when they're led by a buffoon. Go Terps!
In. Others have said it better...
This. I love Maryland football.
In. And I understand why some struggle with winning while R'Goon is here. I am there myself. But I will continue to watch on ESPN3 and pray that I am around long enough for us to become relevant enough that I can watch on my big screen from the Chicago.
Amateurs practice something until they get it right. SEAL's practice until they can't get it wrong
I got no choice in the matter, its in my blood.
Watch how much evil we call the crime picks up...There is nothing else to do Sal!- Ray Lewis
It kills me to have that cancerous Edsall representing Maryland but I will always love MD Football.
Growing up, it was mandatory to love the Terps, that's also one of the reasons why I chose Maryland for undergrad. Like my Dad and my sister, I'm a Terp for life.
Bingo!!!!!! My 4th son came to UMD in '06 to play football for the Terps, and my entire family had the experience of watching him play proudly and honorably for the Terps. I grew up living in the market area of Pitt, WVU and UPS, and I was neither an alum or fan of any of them.
But what we as a family experienced following my son, including the crushing failure of the '09 team and Fridge not even giving Cory a carry against his home town team WVU in TWO separate games where we go pounded was not enough to dampen my enthusiasm for the game, the players, the University and its fans. All my children are grown, and now I sometimes get to attend the games with MY son. LOL!!!
So I'm a Terp fan for life now, and that is really why I still post on these boards and why I started this thread. And I am particularly looking forward to Homecoming this year and my buddy Crespi coming back for the game as well. Our kids couldn't play forever, but what we experienced when they did play was wonderful. Terp for life, eh?
In. Been on board since the Duffner era,...and since I wasn't smart enough to get off this ride then, I figure I will stick it out.
I tried being reasonable once. I didn't like it.
Eli nailed this one! Even though the boys arent playing anymore we still enjoy the company of yous guys! Coming out has been hard the past 2 years but things have changed significantly!
Walking through lot 1 and watching Terp alley will be a real treat as I get to meet up with Mr Brown again!... oooops there isnt any terp alley anymore is there? OK what the hell bouncing through Nolis, Richards, Croftons and that fool Sargemofo will be treat enough.. A win makes it alot more fun! Does it not?
Also in here. Been in since Claiborne (three runs and a punt), Krivak (LOL), Ross (good times), Duffner (remember the MD Football bill of rights or some such BS he came up with), Vandy (he bought a home initially in Laurel and installed a pool with only a four year maintenance agreement/warranty...smart move), Fridge and now Edsall. Seen best and worst of times and Rangoon will not stop me from enjoying MD football.
Also great to have some outstanding student athletes' dads still involved.
Perhaps I'm just not getting the joke, but are you really making fun of the second-winningest head coach in Maryland football history?
Oh, and I'll love Maryland football even if Randy Edsall leads us to another 2-10 season, then goes on a violent killing spree (actually that might be a good thing, Anderson could ignore 2-10 again but couldn't ignore all the murders).
eamhokie94: Is your name Nazi in pig Latin?
Count me in as well. This will be my 44th straight year with season FB tickets. Been through great coaches and miserable coaches. Think this guy is terrible? You should have been around for Bob Ward, rip.
Fully In since Tatum, but It has been mainly a very painful journey.
And realize that bashing coach only hurts the program
It's a joke but based on truth.
Claiborne basically said on any pass play, three things can happen and two of them are bad (complete pass, drop pass, interception)...therefore run the ball at every opportunity (maybe he stole these thoughts from someone else). Did you watch any games in the 70's?
In. A fan's a fan, If I can love the Skins despite their ownership, I can love the Terps despite some of our coaches.
It's so awesome that Eli still not only gives a crap, but is as much of a hardcore fan (including for hoops) as anyone else.
