Thanks for the find
"The best that never became." It was pretty good.
I'm disappointed the race card was played only twice.
That was really good.
Good song but I'm sick of this total crap that it was his first time doing COKE! Still very tragic and one of the sadest days of my life cause I knew Lenny I wouldn't say we were friends. But I was friends with Gatlin, not boys with him, but certainly knew each other and talked from time to time.
This was not Lenny's first time doing COKE!
Does it really matter at this point?
I was just pointing out that it is mentione din the song so yes I felt so.
Whether it was the first time or not, the point remains that he was fairly innocent and ignorant as were many at the time on the potential dangers of coke use.
I couldn't agree more with you on that. LIke it has been said either way just very very sad!
i realize that, but you do more than point it out. you are "sick of this total crap". dont see the issue at all. so what if it wasnt his first time? doesnt change a thing about what the song is trying to convey, also really doesnt change a thing about the real story of what happened. You are obviously entitled to your opinion, i just find it curious that it would bother someone.
I guess this just takes me back to when it happened and Lenny's Mom came to our school to give this anti-drug lecture in a forced assembly talking about how it was his first time and all and it just rubbed me the wrong way.
But you're correct no excuse for me to vent my frustrations about it in this thread.
I was just so upset at his passing and it obviously still affects me today.
