Roddy is rated as the #3 PG and #19 Player Overall. So, Yes, I'm "Oozing". Please take your sorry ass elsewhere if it bothers you.
if he can dribble the ball up court without bouncing it off his foot five times a game, he will be an improvement.
I don't care if Roddy eventually turns into Jason Kidd; if we have no capable point guard again next year, that is entirely on Turgeon. He hand-picked Roddy at a time when he knew we didn't have a single point guard on our roster. We need him to contribute next year.
Though, in fairness, there were some complications with our pg efforts given the extended Harrison-related wait.
Still, I am confident he was someone Turge wanted very much as plan 1A.
If we locked every thread that most would find stupid, we would have a rather empty board.
Can Roddy not dribble off his foot?
If so, he will be an improvement.
I'm probably one of the more critical posters regarding our recruiting. I remember saying that Nick Faust wasn't that good even though he was a top 50 player and everybody down voted me. Roddy Peters on the other hand will play in the NBA, i hope that makes you feel a little better.

I thought he was more of a combo guard instead of a true PG? Isn't the lack of a true PG the biggest problem on this years team?
Why not recruit a pure PG??? God knows our turnover numbers would go down.
i think it's more of a guard that doesn't dribble off his foot or pass it to the other team.
Not my understanding. He's been listed as a PG in every list I've seen. I feel sure Turge would have been hot after another "True PG" even after RP committed if he didn't feel the same way.
Yeah that's what I've seen too so that's what I'm going with. Does anyone have any updates on his injury? It's a shame that he missed the season, I hope he can play this summer where he will get great experience.
And yeah when you go so hard after the Harrisons as well as Peters what other top PG would consider MD? Come on now.
I remember seeing him in an interview saying the recovery was 4-6 months. I think he had the surgery sometime in late December. The interview is on YouTube
Still want a backup JUCO PG. Don't want Howard, Allen, or Faust handling PG duties at all next season.
Fire the Turd!!!
Yeah I'm with you there.
Uhhh...we've been down that road, see Ledbetter/Parrish Brown. Now, a GOOD JUCO PG, I'm with you there.
Alas, Satire is so difficult to broadcast through a keyboard.
You should have a podcast!
We are not going after any JUCOs. Staff already said as such. If we get another player, he will come via the Aronhalt route or overseas.
Rudy Archer would work.
For such a time as this.
