MD is a pg away from a Final Four... Duke and MD next year will be like the good old times.
rock me tonight for old times sake....
yes indeed. maryland basketball in 2013-2014 is going to be the real deal.
I've said it before. I think he'll come back. He's not a typical college basketball dude. He's a kid from the Ukraine learning to live in the West. I think he'll want another year under the protective shell of the turtle (and he's going to have a lot of teammates trying to talk him into it.)
Would that be an awesome way to say adios?
Who's their outside shooter next year?
SCll would have been the man.
For such a time as this.
Smotrycz, hooped with him this summer, he steps in the gym and he's open and he can put the ball on the floor.
Isn't the one-vowel Michigan transfer a pretty good shooter?
from ESPN: "he shot 43.5 percent from 3 this season, and 38.1 percent in 2011"
edit: oops, sorry, Mr Tiffles...

I think that Seth Allen will have to step up in that role and Jake Layman. Faust is way too streaky for that.
If he comes back, he's a fucking idiot.
He's going to be a top 5 pick. There is no chance he comes back.
He wont be. Dont do this to yourself...
Turge is such a GOAT recruiter that I won't even get that depressed if/when he leaves. We'll be legit next year either way.
If Len comes back next year, I will shave off all my body hair, cook it in some soup, and then eat the soup.
Wanted to quote that just in case.
The teammate angle is what I think could do it. This whole team seems very supportive of each other and close. He didn't speak the language and he didn't play AAU ball. He doesn't have the larger network of connections typical of someone with his potential. I don't think there is any way to predict his decision.
Almost no chance he comes back but if he does, we're a Final Four favorite as is.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
This is true. He makes Logan Aronhold look like Ekene Ibekwe from deep..

He won't be back. He could break his leg and miss the rest of the season and still be drafted in the lottery off of the games he's already played this year. I wouldn't be shocked if he was the #1 pick this year, at least top 5.
He's playing with cats. If he was fed the ball more he could score 25 a game effortlessly. This is a very weak draft class. Next year will be crazy.
Can you let a nigga dream damn....
Не питайте мене, лайно, собака.
Don't worry. Essence Townsend will convince him to stay.
This. He's a lock for the top 10 (probably top 5) and has a decent shot at being the #1 pick.
I'm sure he's having a blast in college, but you know what's also probably lots of fun? Earning millions of dollars while fulfilling a lifelong dream and becoming a superstar in your home country. I've never experienced that personally, but it sounds pretty sweet.
Yep. Obviously we would all love it if he came back, but he should go and anyone here that would be pissed at him is an idiot.
Make sure he knows that there arent boston markets in any other state than maryland.
This. I don't think anyone would give up all that for school.
Coach should push him out the door with his bags. Gives the school love for putting a lottery pick in the NBA. Recruits see this. At the end of the day kids want to get to the league as fast as possible. If you show you can do this recruits will come in flocks.
