It's getting close! Anyone concerned about getting up/staying in NYC this weekend? All I've heard is get gas early on the NJ turnpike.
I don't know the gas situation, but it's definitely worth planning around... If you get gas in northern Maryland (say, Elkton), it's only 140 miles to Brooklyn. Hopefully there aren't too many cars that can't make it the 280 mile trip to Brooklyn and back to Elkton in a single tank.

megabus. so pumped for this trip.
Driving from Lexington, wearing red. So pumped.
just got a call from work and can't go now...I have two tickets, PM if interested (price is obviously negotiable)
Vamoosing up on Friday morning. Very excited!
I'm between NJ turnpike exit 3 and 4 and we have no gas issues here. The price has actually dropped recently. Just do it before you get up by exit 7 or so.
Damn, I sound like Piscopo.
Taking the train up early Fri afternoon, can't wait.

saweeeet...got my shift covered. also vamoosing up on friday morning
Bolt bussing (bolting?) up tomorrow night after work. So pumped.
Take the train and relax in the booze car FTW. Where is the official pregame/berating UK fan hang?
If I leave DC at noon, should i be able to get there by 6? google says 4.5 hours, but will prob hit traffic at some point? any thoughts for those who's done the drive before?
We're trying to leave from Baltimore a little before 1, and I'm hoping to be in Brooklyn by 5... That builds in some traffic time. I'm hoping to not hit much traffic till we get off the turnpike and head into Staten Island.
I'm taking greyhound from Silver Spring, should arrive by 5:30. Even with traffic, there's some cushion there. Bolt was sold out.
Fire the Turd!!!
Any ideas on pregame locations?
Taking the train up in the morning. Very much looking forward to my 4-day weekend.
I've never taken Bolt Bus before....how long before departure time should I get there? I'm assuming this isn't like taking a plane where you have to get there an hour and a half before, but if I get there 20 mins before my bus leaves, should I be good?
The bus / train options are so smart, for obvious reasons.
Out of curiosity, where will the buses drop you? For trains, I guess you'll be subwaying over to Brooklyn?
ETA: Actually, Barclays is built right on top of a major rail hub, right?

Vamoose drops off on a corner right near Penn Station (30th and 7th, I believe). Several bus lines appear to drop in the same general area. We're subwaying over to Brooklyn after we arrive and getting checked in to our hotel before getting some drinks/food before the game.
I like Vamoose, FWIW. Not having to worry about driving/parking is worth the $60 round trip fare.
megabus drops us at MSG
Barcalys Center might be the most easily accessible arena/stadium in the country with regards to public transportation.
Someone tell me quickest subway/train way from Times Square to Barclay's plz.
The Q runs express through Manhattan and is only five stops from Times Square to Barclays.
awesome, thank you.
