You have a court named after you. I guess that is a disservice to all the former Georgia St players.

It completely minimizes the players of the Bob Reinhart era. Reinhart led the Panthers to the first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1991. Naming the court after Lefty minimizes the contributions of such players as Chris Collier and Corey Gauff.

The main court (named the Charles "Lefty" Driesell Court for the former Panthers mens basketball coach, in an act of hypocrisy by Driesell, who likes whining about courts being named after coaches) has a four sided scoreboard hanging from the ceiling as well as a "JumboTron" style video signage board on the south end wall.

This thread is not necessary and I wish it hadn't been started, but Durr makes it worthwhile.

Perhaps it would be more fair to everyone if Driesell left his name on the court for the rest of this year, then next year, GSU could put Lea Henry's name on the court. Henry also guided the Panthers' women's basketball team to the NCAA Tournament in 2003 after winning the Atlantic Sun conference championship.
