I'd go with Anthony Grant at this point. I love Gary, but I'm ready for a coach thats going to play the recruiting game. Look at Mike Brey's recruiting classes since he has been at Notre Dame. Dude had one stellar class in 2002 with Chris Quinn, Torin Frances and Rick Cornett. The rest have been a bunch of classes with 3 star recruits with maybe one 4 star sprinkled in. His players overachieved just like Gary's the majority of the time. Plus dude is pushing 60, aint he?

Is that the same 980 that said Miller was in? I won't believe anything at this point until we have a coach sitting next to Kevin Anderson being introduced. And even then, I'll only be 75% confident.

We would not be going through all this if GW had actually groomed an assistant that could take over. Remember all that BS about assistant coaches under Gary that became head coaches.

Good.
I don't care about being turned down by somebody nobody rational wanted. The bottom line is getting someone who can do with the program what is capable of being done. Brey wasn't that guy. So if it takes him turning down idiotic overtures by KA to achieve that, fine.
