Yup, seems about right for us.
Instead of regrouping and going after Wright or Dixon (shouldn't even waster our time w/ Stevens b/c that is not happening) or anyone not named Brey, we are going to panic and go after the Brey.
At least we will compete with Duke for having the most un-athletic white basketball players. Also, we will shoot lot more threes.

Stevens was wooed a year ago, notably by Oregon, but stayed in his native Indiana. If Stevens says no then Maryland native Mike Brey of Notre Dame and Mark Turgeon of Texas A&M are expected to be next on the list."

Huge waste of time here.
No way Stevens will leave Butler for us. Despite being the hottest name in CBB, he was our second target. At least, this will not drag for very long.
Instead of wasting time here, KA and the gang should focus on more realistic targets.

It's an even worse decision to even THINK about brey, he would do nothing for our recruiting and would be such an uninspired hire its sickening.
People need to realize that while the job might be a good one, our 2011-12 team is not good at all. We need a guy that can get some legit talent to come in during the first few years and get us atleast back into the tournament, otherwise we lose any momentum of having a new coach.
Brey won't do that, and while he might build a decent program, we'll never be elite under him.

There is no fucking chance Brad Stevens is going to come here now. What a joke.
I tell you, by the way, the story about the allergies was a nice touch. Seriously, how good is that? People actually ate that shit up. Arizona is going to lavish money and adoration on some scumbag who twisted them in the wind for two days for a couple of extra dollars and perqs. Seriously, the guy is a complete scumbag and he isn't worthy of replacing a guy like Gary here.

With the way our clumsy AD can't keep any interview from being leaked, good luck finding a candidate after Stevens turns us down. The whole country will know its our third choice.

LMAO @ having the nerve to go at Stevens
we aren't a #1 hottest coach in America kind of job, especially if you disrespect him enough by going to him 2nd
and Lurch of the junkies said Brey told him personally he wasn't interested in the job

Stevens isn't leaving Butler. Nate James would be my first choice. However, I would be happy with Mike Brey.
