I'm still unsure. Eliminates the chance for a shitty hire. Proven recruiter and a good coach.

Wow amazing how things have changed! Everyone on this board was salivating a year or two ago because he was a confident, cool looking black guy. Thats all there is to coaching right?

Grant seemed like a great option -- and he still is, to me -- because he could recruit, coach and charm boosters, fanbase. But I don't think that people at that time realized how much big interest there would be in this job.

I mean, you're really not gonna find many guys to be assistant coaches with a resume like Grant. I think him and Brad Stevens together could do some serious damage.

I definitely approve of Anthony Grant, in general. But this candidate pool (if all the hubbub is remotely true) is ridiculous.
It's like Grant is Anne Hathaway, and we're all chasing 3 or 4 Kate Uptons.
