This is what, the third incident between a player and cop since September? Had Fridge ever had that many incidents in a 3 month span?

Maybe he was just dutifully pointing out some slight shortcoming in the officer's attire or conduct as he's been taught by his mentors.

Edsall's player arrest numbers aren't going to go down. On one hand he's recruiting fine young men who commit less crimes but they're all going to be way too slow to outrun the police so a much higher percentage will get caught.

I don't think so. Fridge did have one linebacker get suspended (Costa??) for twice mixing it up with the police. Killed me how he was a criminology major. Guess he was absent the day they talked about your job prospects taking a dip when you punch cops.

From the article, it looks like he was arrested on his 18th birthday. Terrific timing; now he can tried as an adult instead of a juvie. Couldn't he have gotten arrested one day earlier?

CHecking out the judiciary database it looks like his pops has been an active one over the years. I did loss prevention back in the 90's in G-burg, surprised I didn't run into him.
