2013 Basketball Recruiting Thread (Barton visiting this weekend)

It sounded like one of two scenarios regarding Kentucky:
1. That UK is the favorite and they don't need to visit again so they are just visiting the other 3 to make sure that they are making the right decision
OR
2. That UK is still on the board because they are UK, and they are only so-so about them but don't want to completely rule them out because of the stature and championship of the team.
I'm leaning towards the 2nd.

Mom is the key. They may be great HS basketball players, but those are her babies. She doesn't want them running into sny s**t, at Kentucky.

You're right. My guy was wrong about Cassell. Thought Sr. had more sway than he did. I hope he's wrong about the Harrisons too. We shall see. He also Is extremely close to Dwayne and hasn't let on about his intentions.

Also talking to AAU coaches (multiple) and players' relatives (more than several) is probably more legitimate than having no contacts at all. Doesn't mean they will always be right, just that they have a pulse on the Bmore hoops scene.

Unless you're talking to immediately family or their current AAU coach (who just happens to be their father), then you don't know shit. I know I don't go telling my cousins or 9th grade physics teacher everything I'm doing.
