Man, fuck them. They've known where they were going to college for weeks now. Made us lose out on Rysheed and we're on the outside looking in on Peters.

Their Basketball Players' Dormitory is quite impressive. Compare that with living on campus anywhere at College Park...sure Comcast is great, but we need to up our game when it comes to facilities for athletes.

I think the boys wanted Kentucky all along. A lot of glitz and glam and snake oil from Cal. But it's also a great program with a stellar track record of putting kids in the pros. I wish the twins luck in their progress towards the NBA. I hope we beat the piss out of Kentucky in Brooklyn. Other than that let's move on to the next topic and not dwell.

What are you talking about? Our basketball players live at the View, a very nice apartment complex that's a 5 min walk away from Comcast. It's not like they live in Cumberland Hall or something

We all knew the risks with going hard for high profile players. We want to play with the big boys. When you do, this shit happens. Other recruits know they are your second choice. We have to go hard at Roddy and Rysheed and maybe kiss a little ass. We are trying to rebuild a program here at Maryland. You can't take this decision personally, you just have to roll with it.
Time to go to work!

First its all hugs and kisses for the twins then they choose the CATS then you use that kind of language. You should be ashamed of yourself and so should all of the good Terp fans.

Sucks for you guys, but they made it clear that they only plan on staying one year, and it's tough going against One-and-Done U for those type of players. I'm a Turgeon fan, and I think he'll build something good at Maryland.

Yeah it does suck, but, I agree with the sentiment. I do believe Turgeon is on track to build something good here. This obviously would have jump-started that process, which makes it more disappointing. But I still feel good about the trajectory of the program, and I think this year our team is going to surprise a lot of people.
If the Twins didn't value what Maryland has to offer, there's not much to be done, we're left with having to go find great kids that want to be Terps. I think we'll land our fair share and compete in the future for ACC and national titles.
