I think there will be a possibility of a midseason transfer.

It's not a bad question, but on any D-1 level team, there's going to be points where every kid is unhappy with something.

These guys are all accustomed to be top players coming in, so it can be a bit shocking when they're brought down a peg or two, whether it be from head coaches, asst. coaches, or S&C coaches.

Really good question. Turge should be happy with the improved depth this season. My guess is all the non freshman except Pankey/Padgett (PF battle) will start. All the freshmen will be key backups.

At least to start the season. If Cleare or Mitchell or Pankey can actually put the ball in the basket on a consistent level, they may give him a challenge. Shaq and Padgett can board.

I miss the old days where we'd have one or two legit players and a bunch of RTs...

All i know is practices are going to be awesome. Those big boys down low are going to get better and better playing against other really big players.

Seems like so many new players coming in at once can have advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, there are more skill sets and playing styles to integrate (forgetting about egos for the moment) so just figuring out what combinations work best will be complicated.

On the other, they'll all know they're starting together from ground zero -- more or less, but even the returning guys were part of a transition year -- so, assuming Turgeon is as straight with them as he clearly seems to be, there shouldn't be any surprises or grudges or hidden agendas. They'll battle it out in practices and it should be clear enough where they stand with respect to each other.
