Nice to see them both handling this situation in a mature way. Particularly for Stoglin, it's tougher when you're young and in the heat of competition.

I would be tweeting too....this guy has carried turgeon's butt this yr. you ride your horses regardless if they are having a bad game. and for those who think he just chucks it up sometimes.... he is number 9 in fg % and he doesn't dunk like the rest of the list. you guys need to get a clue...If he benched me that much, I would be on the next flight to arizona.....then at least I could play in an ncaa tournament.....

Lots of people have made the Gilchrist comparison, but I've always felt like there was a different dynamic working here. It doesn't seem to me that Stogs is pushing back in quite the same way that Gilchrist did. It also seems that Turg is not digging his heels in quite like Gary might have.

I've never taken his comments as throwing players under the bus, rather being very honest about the situation and essentially saying the same thing to the media as he says to the players, within the bounds of reason. Honesty is the main thing; Edsall seems to have an arrogant approach regarding his interactions with the media, does not come across as Turge does, in a self deprecating and humble way.
