In-home visits can get repetitive after a while. College coaches come in, try to sell the recruit on their school and program and leave within an hour or two. The same happens a night or two later, then again after that.

Baltimore City College shooting guard Nick Faust will host his fourth in-home visit Tuesday evening when Oregon State visits, so it’s to the point of becoming like Groundhog Day. There is, however, one moment that sticks in his mind, one conversation distinctly different.
Faust’s dad, Anthony, complimented Maryland coach Gary Williams about how he handles his players and how he developed Greivis Vasquez. Williams offered a response and “was about to cry,” Faust said. “I guess he got emotional.”
Williams visited along with assistants Bino Ranson and Keith Booth and made a favorable impression on Faust and his parents. This weekend they will have a chance to seal the deal when Faust visits officially.
Is there a chance he makes a commitment?
“I would say it’s 50-50,” said the 6-foot-5 Faust. “I’m really not sure if I’m going to make it or not.”
He is scheduled to come in Saturday morning along with point guard commitment Sterling Gibbs and power forward target Johnny O’Byrant, who are both making their official visits.
Faust said he’s been talking “a lot lately” with Gibbs and O’Bryant, one of the nation’s top frontcourt prospects.
O’Bryant “is interested a lot in Maryland,” Faust said. “It’s just us making the decision whether we want to go there or not. Everyone who has offered us has a great fit.”
Faust added that on his visit this weekend he wants to see if the school feels “like a second home.”
If Faust holds off committing, he has an official visit to Florida State scheduled for Oct. 15. He’s also trying to set up a visit to Villanova, which along with Maryland, Florida State, Marquette and Oregon State make up his top five. Marquette and Florida State have already been in-home.
In any event, he said he wants to make a decision by Nov. 15, the start of practice for his senior season.

I am fully expecting him to commit this weekend. Major meltdown if he doesn't. As Hogie said the issue is whether or not we can swing JOB as well. Honestly I feel like we need to lock him up this weekend to. Don't like our chances if he leaves and goes on his officials to Ole Miss and visits Miss St some more.
