    • Yeah. I think it's a different game going against 6'5" "bigs" who want to step out and shoot 3s.

    • Also I don't think he's slumping do much as we sorta suck at getting him the ball at times.

    • He just disappears at times, which I think is the result of a number of different things. The talent is tantalizing, but NBA scouts must have some concerns about him. I'm starting to wonder if he might not play himself out of the top 10, which might help us get another year out of him.

Neither of those things are happening. Nobody is going to remember these past two games after Alex puts up 24/13/5 against Plumlee.

What do you think the scouts aren't liking? That he's 7-1 and athletic and coordinated? That he's taking the most shots on his team and converting at a 60% rate? That he's a terrific shot blocker who very well could translate into one of the elite defenders in the NBA? That he makes 67% of his FT, doesn't turn the ball over, and is an overall incredibly efficient offensive player? That he's only a sophomore in college with plenty of time to improve his already outstanding game in order to reach his immense ceiling?

    • If you are okay with Alex playing himself out of the Top 10, there is something wrong with you. If we want to be considered a top program once again, the time for Alex to develop is NOW. We need to win NOW. We shouldn't hope he underperforms so we can hold onto him for another year.

If Len plays like a top 5 lottery pick and either Faust or Allen steps up their game to shooting 45% and not turning the ball over much, our ceiling is.... high.

    • Len is going to get double and triple teams from here on out. I'm optimistic Terps will handle that fine. He's a good passer, guards have been knocking down 3s at a solid rate lately, and he has help inside. I want to see him play with more toughness night in and night out. He's made big strides since last year, but he's nowhere near where he needs to be for the League in that department. The yelling and flexing after a dunk is all fine. But there's more to playing strong than that.

You made a couple great points. Len is an exceptional passer for a big man. This will make the double teams much less effective. And the Terps have been shooting much better from 3 lately. Pe'Shon and Allen seem to be legit 3 point threats.
